Utilizing and Organizing the Elements and Principles of Design
Project 2My purpose for this project was to depict different walks of life. This painting is a maze and I think life is too. There are many different paths to take on this maze but they all lead to the same ending. The straightforward path gets you right to the end but you don’t get much out of it. Taking an alternate path may take longer and be tougher but there are things to learn along the way, when you get to the end you are more experienced and feel more accomplished. I painted this in a monochromatic manner with all of the color being a tint or shade of blue. I painted a swirly background with inspiration from Vincent van Gogh.
